Comment Ettiquite and Procedures: We welcome appropriate comments but will not permit inappropriate language or private or personal information that may put you at risk such as phone numbers and emails in the comment box. We reserve the right to edit or delete comments. Our goal is to make you look like the intelligent person we know you are, so we’ll do our best to fix some spelling and grammar mistakes for you.
Spam: The site has strong comment spam filters in place which automatically remove the majority of comment spam. Some may slip through and they are fairly promptly removed. The automatic spam filter may rarely capture legitimate comments. If your comment has been moderated or does not appear within a few days, please use our Contact form to let us know.
Email subscriptions are opt-in.
Site Update Notification Subscriptions are alerts to new content on the John Doan website. Subscriptions to site updates are managed through your profile where you can unsubscribe or change which site category topics you wish to receive for site update notification.
The email mailing list subscription is for emails directly from John Doan concerning new albums, upcoming concerts, sales, special events, and other activities. It is an opt-in list and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The comment form requires email addresses. We do not use those email address for any of our subscriptions, though you do have the option of subscribing to site updates through the comment form.
